Specific Media appoints first European research manager

Technology and online media company Specific Media, has appointed Chris Worrell, former insight manager for News International, as European research manager.

Worrell takes on the new role with the responsibility for designing, developing and implementing the new research strategy that will be undertaken by Specific Media. This will aim to enhance the insight within the company, while Worrell will also produce in-depth consumer insight research and bespoke analysis for the company’s clients.

Worrell spent five years working for News International, holding a number of positions, latterly that of insight manager where he was commissioned the first paywall advertising research project.

He has also held a research role with The Publishing Consultancy, holding a research role across its Bauer portfolio.
