VisitScotland is set to create a framework with three agencies for the provision of sales promotion services.

The tourism organisation has issued a tender advertisement for expressions of interest for the framework contract, which will last for one year and carry a budget of between £2,200,000 and £2,900,000.

Working with VisitScotland’s UK and Ireland marketing team and the local marketing team, the framework will provide below-the-line marketing solutions which will aim to drive tourism to Scotland.

This work will be guided by VisitScotland’s new Segmentation findings and will support the organisation’s ‘Surprise Yourself’ marketing activity.

The Leith Agency is currently putting the finishing touches to the first ‘Surprise Yourself’ campaign, expected to roll out in the coming weeks.

Agencies will be expected to deliver on-pack promotions, tactical partnerships, in store/Visitor Information Centre retail opportunities, mobile marketing and experiential opportunities.

Requests to participate will be accepted until 12 April.
