The new website for Fylde Coast YMCA has now gone live, created by Studio North.

The site will be used in partnership with a number of local authorities, the NHS and other third sector organisations in order to provide opportunities for personal and social development for community based and social initiatives.

Studio North was principally briefed with creating a new site which would allow users to batter interact with the organisations services, such as housing, childcare, training, outdoor education and community.

This meant placing a clear focus on interactive elements of the website and allow users to personalise it for their individual needs, including features such as video, blogs, feature areas for events and promotions.

Users will also be able to register for training and classes, with downloadable documents available across various sections of the website.

Supporting the site is a bespoke site Y:Active for the Fylde Coast YMCA’s new health and fitness brand featuring class details, gyms and general health advice.

Richard Lowe, account manager at Studio North, said; “The Fylde Coast YMCA needed two sites that were informative, simple to use and navigate which still had great stand out. A number of diverse audiences with different needs use the websites so they needed to be engaging to all of them without compromising on style or impact.”
