Gratterpalm has been appointed to create a TV campaign for window coverings company Hunter Douglas.

The Leeds agency's brief is to raise awareness of the firm's Luxaflex brand among "house-proud, style-conscious consumers and interior design professionals".

Its team is heading to Scotland to shoot a 30-second ad featuring models wearing creations made from Luxaflex fabrics.

Pete Camponi, creative director at Gratterpalm, said: “We wanted to present the range of Luxaflex blinds in a way that is visually appealing, and so we came up with the ‘window styling’ creative, which positions Luxaflex as a fashion statement.”

As well as seeking to increase awareness of the Luxaflex brand generally, the TV commercial will highlight three specific product ranges called Silhouette, Facette and Duette.

Chris Lapthorne, head of marketing at Luxaflex, said: "“As this TV commercial is a UK-first for Luxaflex, we wanted a campaign that communicated what the brand is really about and captivated our target audience."

The 30 second ad will air from 14 March on a number of channels including ITV, Daybreak, Five, Sky1 and Sky Movies.
