Taylors of Harrogate Coffee has signed a 12-month sponsorship deal with Sky Arts.

It hopes sponsoring the digital TV channel will "strengthen the brand's ongoing relationship with arts and culture in the UK" having previously had partnerships with Classic FM and The Daily Telegraph.

The deal has been arranged by Manchester-based PHD North in conjunction with sister company Drum PHD.

From today Taylors idents be seen before all programming on Sky Arts 1 and Sky Arts 2 and the Sky Arts HD channels. Its branding will also appear on the channel's website.

Kevin Sinfield, brand manager at Taylors of Harrogate Coffee, said: "Sky Arts provides us with the perfect media blend – a credible platform for us to demonstrate the breadth and quality of our product range, a highly relevant audience, a wealth of brand extensions and activation opportunities – it will be a great cornerstone for our advertising activity in 2011”.
