Clearsilver picks up Helen of Troy PR briefs

Personal appliance company Helen of Troy has appointed Clearsilver to handle PR for several its brands.

The company has briefed Clearsilver to oversee consumer-facing media relations and direct consumer activity for haircare brand Vidal Sassoon, personal health and wellbeing lines from Scholl and electrical hair-removal range from Veet.

The Leeds agency will also implement a ‘big-splash’ launch campaign for two new brands from Helen of Troy.

Louise Leach, managing director of Clearsilver, commented: “We will be working with Helen of Troy to deliver a high profile PR programme which reinforces the heritage, expertise and innovation behind each of these iconic brands.”

The appointment of Clearsilver following a four-way competitive pitch involved agencies from Leeds and London.
