Mere PR to help France meet the media

Atour France, the French tourism development agency in the UK, has hired Mere PR to help organise its annual 'France Meets the Media' event for 2011.

The event takes the form of a week-long roadshow with 30 regional press officers from across France coming to the UK and Ireland to meet a variety of journalists.

Cheshire agency Mere, which was involved in the inaugural event in 2009, will act as media liaison for the Manchester and Liverpool meet ups later this month.

Victoria Maltby, who heads up Mere's travel team, said: "Building on the success of previous France Meets the Media roadshows, we will ensure each event is well attended with quality journalists with a keen interest in visiting France this year."
