Anchor urges Facebook users to give it a squirt
Anchor has launched a campaign on Facebook to promote the more 'adult' virtues of its Squirty Cream in the lead up to Valentine's Day.
The company claims it conceived the 'Every Flirt Deserves A Squirt' campaign after carrying out research which showed that three percent of Squirty Cream purchases are used for "more 'nocturnal' activities".
It has therefore created a Facebook game in which fans are challenged to lick cream off a model of their choice in return for vouchers.
Players 'lick' off the cream using their webcam. Every entry completed in less than 30 seconds gets a voucher and can enter a draw for a romantic weekend in a country hotel.
The brand is also using a Facebook poll to discover which celebrity people believes most deserves a "squirt".
The Facebook activity has been created by digital agency Outside Line.
Louise Allen, brand manager for Anchor Squirty Cream, said: "This is a fun time of year for many people. We wanted to develop something romantic and enjoyable with a suitable prize for the best ‘flirts’."
