Access hires former BDH man McPhillips as marketing head

Manchester agency Access has appointed Barry McPhillips, former head of marketing at Communisis, as its head of marketing.

McPhillips has formerly been a head of design at BDH/TBWA and creative director of The Marketing Store Worldwide.

Simon Landi, managing director of Access, said: "We’ve brought in Barry to help us to deliver a more focused approach for clients at every level of our business.

"His experience working with major global brands in the FMCG and entertainment sectors will help our expansion plans."

McPhillips said of his new role: "My task is to work with the management team to help Access reach its full potential with clients, helping clients to get more value at more points throughout their marketing cycles."

At Access he will be working with clients including Turtle Wax, COI, Greater Manchester Police and United Utilities.
