Gendall provides brand refresh for Country View Cottages

Cornish brand, graphic and digital design agency, Gendall, has provided a brand and website for self-catering holiday cottage operator, Country View Cottages.

The cottage operator was keen to increase its revenue by generating direct bookings rather than via an accommodation listings site.

Gendall developed the website, CMS and back-office to enable holiday-makers to make direct bookings online, and Country View to take telephone sales; the refreshed brand aims to convey a personality of service that could not be found at larger accommodation providers.

“The new brand is inspired by the doves that can be found at Tresooth and the leafy aspect that each of the cottages offer, explained Jason Salisbury, Design Director, Gendall.

“Photography was essential to capture the quality of the surroundings and photographer Matt Jessop and our stylist Natalie Bennet have brought the spaces to life.”

Gendall explained that the website design combines leaf textures and overlays to integrate the brand language created and emphasise the green surroundings of the cottages. The use of large images in the galleries aim to keep a strong focus on the properties, and of the quality of service Country View provide.

Country View Cottages offer inland Self Catering Accommodation in Cornwall that enable holiday-makers to explore the county.
