Edinburgh Airport Fire Training Centre has launched a new website to promote its courses and facilities.

Leading the industry in competency-based training and assessment of skills, the Edinburgh Airport Fire Training Centre hopes this new website will raise awareness and promote the Training Centre to key audiences, including personnel who are employed to carry out Rescue and Firefighting (RFF) duties at licensed aerodromes, personnel with training requirements across courses offered and decision-makers and those responsible for booking training.

The design and development of the site was carried out by Spider Online following a competitive pitch for the Glasgow-based digital agency.

Spider Online MD John Campbell said of the project: “There are a limited number of organisations offering this very specialist service in the UK. Edinburgh Airport’s Fire training Centre is one of the leading Centre’s and this site will showcase the great facilities and staff they have in place.”

And Colin Murray, Edinburgh Airport fire manager, added: “The website development project marks a new and exciting chapter for our Fire Training Centre. Our key objective is to showcase our facilities, and promote our courses in an engaging way to the right audiences. Following a thorough tender process, we selected Spider Online as the agency best placed to help us achieve this”
