Arqiva is seeking an investment partner for its online TV venture SeeSaw, which launched in February last year but quickly found itself the subject of a strategic review.

SeeSaw employs around 30 staff but October's internal review said the service needs further investment to reach its full potential. The paid-for service aggregates content from the BBC, Channel 4 and 5 as well as US content from NBC, MTV and Disney.

Options being considered by Arqiva include selling a stake in the business to the complete sale of SeeSaw. An external advisor will be appointed shortly to oversee the decision.

Arqiva handles TV and radio transmitters for most UK broadcasters and is a partner in YouView, the video-on-demand service.
