Burger King loses Power as marketing director quits

Sarah Power has left Burger King to 'pursue other career opportunities’ after four years at the fast-food company. Her departure was finalised on 14 January.

Promoted to marketing director UK and Ireland for the brand in August 2008, Power oversaw the introduction of ‘The King’ character to Burger King’s advertising as well as the launch of its Angus burger.

It is understood that an interim structure would be put in place until a new marketing chief is found.
