Music video social network MUZU.tv and on-demand radio platform Mixcloud have both tasked digital sales house w00t!media with handling online advertising for both of their websites.

w00t!media will help brands engage with MUZU.tv and Mixcloud’s content and audiences through branded players, banner adverts, homepage takeovers and sponsorship.

Nikhi Shah, co-founder of Mixcloud, commented: “Our platform is powered by people who produce high quality content – we want to help brands push boundaries, using credible music content to engage and interact with their audiences. Brands can create their own radio stations and content portals powered by Mixcloud. We have deep social integration - a lot of brands are creating great stuff but it’s often left sitting on their websites; we want to help them to create and connect. Ultimately they can access an audience of influencers. DJs who upload content are actively using the service to engage directly with listeners.”

Mixcloud has already worked with w00t!media to produce a six week Cloudcast competition for BlackBerry at the end of last year.
