Butlins launch “Happy Days” campaign

Holiday park operator Butlins is going green for its latest TV campaign as the British leisure destination introduces a cuddly dinosaur to front its new bookings campaign.

Ludo the Dudo will grace television screens from tomorrow, supported by ads in women’s magazines and on social networking sites in support of the firms 75th birthday.

The mascot will target busy mums, offering them fun family breaks by illustrating how children see their families and holidays.

Appropriately enough Ludo was created by design agency Mother and complements Butlins new motto, “Happy Days.”

Musical accompaniment is provided by US rock band Kansas with Dust in the Wind, re-recorded here by Sanca.
