Polydor has teamed up with digital creative agency Clusta to relaunch the Cheryl Cole website, coinciding with the release of her second album Messy Little Raindrops.

With the re-skin boasting a sleek look and feel reflective of her new album cover artwork; this is the second project Birmingham-based Clusta has worked on for the Cheryl Cole website. The agency launched the site for her first album back in 2009.

Aaron Bogucki, senior digital campaign manager at Polydor, commented: “It’s great working with Clusta again. Cheryl’s site is a key component in our campaign so it’s imperative we have a great digital agency behind it.”

Polydor has launched a competition using Facebook Places to promote Messy Little Raindrops.

People are invited to check in to a billboard advert (there are 114 in London and Newcastle) using Facebook Places. When they do so, a status update will be shared on their Wall.

The music label worked with MediaCom's entertainment division ted@MediaCom to produce the digitally led poster campaign.
