Manchester law firm Davis Blank Furniss has revealed its first rebrand in over a decade, designed by Studio North.

The new positioning and the accompanying marketing collateral, including a logo, website, press adverts and various other materials, will begin to roll out this week.

Studio North began the process having identified and agreed the core values of the firm; professional, approachable, traditional, accessible, unique and the heritage, which were then analysed, resulting in the theme of ‘Traditionally Original’ being created.

Bespoke illustrations have been created for each department using flat colours from a simple palette including strong red and a cool grey which are then complemented by a combination of limes, blues, purples and yellows.

The intention of each illustration is to be as simple as possible and is positioned alongside reportage style photography where necessary.

A new website has also been developed.

Kate Oldfield, managing partner of Davis Blank Furniss said; "We are immensely proud of our heritage and this launch is the next step and the natural evolution of the firm. We have already had positive feedback from our clients and contemporaries so we are sure that Studio North’s work will help to position us for the next decade and well beyond."
