...old Jelf

Jelf Group, the national insurance and employee benefits consultancy, has unveiled its new brand identity, designed by Bristol agency Synergy Creative.

The group, now just called Jelf, sought to create a single new identity to bring together the different brands within its business and make things clearer for staff and clients.

Malia Brown, group communications manager, said: "After a period of sustained growth and acquisition, we saw the need to draw the group together under the Jelf brand and to use this as an opportunity to refresh our image."

Thanks for the comment, the client loves it too! We chose Kabel for its sharp feel and quirky 'e'.

And our industry wonders why it has difficulty justifying the cost of 'creativity' to clients. Lazy mediocrity at best - the agency would have more chance of justifying rubella than this!

Hi thanks for the comments - Obviously as a creative agency we presented a number of options. Some of these involved custom drawn fonts, some involved customising existing fonts, some involved creating symbols to work with the font to create a brand. At the end of the day it was the clients choice what route they take from options presented and they chose a very simple route.

OK we hear you, it's the client's fault. I wouldn't post it on here then.
