Emma Wensley, client services director for Twenty-Six has been appointed as joint managing director of Numiko.

Wensley has joined the Leeds-based digital agency to work alongside current managing director David Eccles to focus on developing the commercial side of the business.

It is understood that over a six-month period, Wensley will work towards taking over the running of the company fully and implementing its strategic plans, freeing up Eccles to spend more time working with clients.

She has worked in digital marketing for 12 years, working across varying sectors and companies including Proctor and Gamble, Design Council, Gatwick Airport, Next, BBC and Travelodge.

Eccles told The Drum that he would now focus on helping the agency’s client base to separate the strategic and creative elements of their digital campaigns.

“I will be working on a strategy from the early stages of new business and working on that all of the way through to the creative brief and will take on a more creative director/strategic role,” he explained having led the agency since his appointment in 2002.
