A new north east print consultancy, Trust, has been launched with Studio Precept working with the firm to develop the brand.

Creative agency Studio Precept worked with the new firm to develop the brand, with all communications geared towards showcasing the brand personality and the importance of trust.

Trust's founders, Allan Smith and Michael Jackson, will now work directly with marketing and design professionals, with a focus on printing advice and direction.

Jackson commented: “We don’t simply offer print material at the cheapest cost, we are a trusted resource as we understand the needs of marketeers and the design process. We are offering a brand new concept to the industry.”

Smith, who has worked as a print representative for leading print houses across the country, decided to go it alone as he felt there was a gap in the market for print consulting, rather than simply print buying and management.

He added: “Many designers go direct to printers instead of using print management companies as some feel they focus too much on price without taking time to understand the needs of the project. As a consultancy we feel we can offer both. We only work with leading suppliers who, like ourselves, never compromise on quality.”

Trust already have clients throughout the North of England, including established creative agencies and a variety of end users.
