Manchester agency Studio North is helping the NHS Foundation Trust in Cumbria launch a new support service for young people in the county.

The Manchester agency has created the branding for the new service, which helps young people deal with mental health pressures including stress, self-confidence, body image and bullying.

Studio North tested its ideas on local youngsters in a series of workshops, before turning its 'Life is a Rollercoaster' theme into a creative campaign to raise awareness across the region.

Posters (pictured) will be placed in Cumbrian hospitals and they will be backed by leaflets and webpages showing the help available to youngsters.

Kerry Dennison, account director at Studio North, said: "Encouraging young people to recognise mental health as a serious issue has always been a difficult challenge. It is therefore essential to engage with this audience in a relevant and non-patronising way and we are sure Life is a Rollercoaster will do just that."
