Manchester digital marketing agency Hidden Creative has come up with a series of interactive augmented reality adverts to promote this year's Hubbub media and marketing event.

Hubbub organisers Moorfield Media asked Hidden Creative to use the technology to help create a buzz about the event, which takes place in Manchester next month.

The advert (pictured) offers a 25 percent discount on Hubbub tickets and comes to life when a user holds it in front of their webcam.

These augmented reality markers, as they are known, will be distributed in media and marketing titles from 7 September.

Clare Tams, marketing manager at Moorfield Media, said: “The Hubbub Conference is all about bringing the latest in marketing strategies to professionals in the North West.

“Augmented reality is an innovative technique which drives interaction with your audience and we have incorporated it into the campaign to give visitors not only the chance to try it out but also to benefit from the delegate discount.”

Anyone who don't manage to get a marker can print one off and try out the augmented reality experience on Hubbub's website.
