Aberdeen City Council is seeking a PR agency to promote its City Garden Project.

The Council is set to tender for an agency to undertake communication/public relation activities and stakeholder engagement for the public space located within Union Terrace Gardens, which it hopes will contribute to the develop and promotion of the city centre as one of Europe’s best.

The contract will be awarded for a period of up to three years however the Council has said that it will reserve the right to terminate the contract at certain key stages, in the event that the City Garden Project does not progress beyond the initial stages.

At least five agencies will be approached to tender for the project which has a deadline of 29 September for expressions of interest, with invitations to tender set to be issued on 18 October.

Interested parties should apply through the Public Contracts Scotland site.
