Scottish Advertising Awards 2010 nominations revealed

The nominations for this year’s Scottish Advertising Awards have been announced, with The Scottish Government and private sector brands Tennent’s and Irn Bru leading the way across numerous categories.

The Scottish Government has picked up 16 nominations, while Irn Bru has picked up 12 and Tennent’s has received 11 for their marketing campaigns over the last year.

Meanwhile, Hotel’s Du Vin’s in-house creative team has picked up six nominations.

Nominated for creative team of the year are Chris Rush and Andy Peel from The Leith Agency and Euan Auld and Paul McDonald from The Union.

The winners of The Chairman’s Award, Client of the Year, Agency of the Year and The Drum Grand Prix will also be announced during the ceremony, which will be held at the newly refurbished Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow on Friday 8 October.
