Onteca gears up for monster Wii launch
Liverpool based videogame developer Onteca are to unleash their latest title on the Wii this month, ‘Monsteca Corral: Monsters vs. Robots’.
Described as “monster packed” the 3d strategy-puzzler will be launched on the WiiWare from August 20 in Europe for 500 Wii Points.
Targeted at “anyone and everyone” the romp sees the player assume command of “a herd of peculiar orange creatures known as Stompies.”
A Lemmings like premise then sees the player charged with guiding the “dim witted” creatures successfully through each level, confounding the best efforts of an army of invading robots in the process.
The release has been made possible thanks to an investment of £50k by Vision + Media, a support agency for the north west digital and creative industries.
