Marketing and sponsorship for the West Indies Cricket Board is being designed by Tobasgo Creative.

The Beaconsfield agency has been tasked with undertaking a series of high profile project which include sponsorship and events collateral as well as internal communications materials for the Board.

Tobasgo has already completed its first task in creating sponsorship collateral for the Board’s first Caribbean T20 Event, which began on 22 July, running until the end of the month, played at Kensington Oval in Barbados and Queens Park Oval in Trinidad.

The event saw Tobasgo made responsible for several projects for the event, including event branding for the inaugural Caribbean T20 competition, building on the recent success of the ICC WT20 West Indies ‘Bring It’ campaign implemented earlier this year to bring fans on board for the contest, and creating the event logo and rolling it out across perimeter boards, web banners and email sign offs for the Windies team; as well as using it throughout the tournament.

Alan Martin, director of Tobasgo explained that the agency was given less than a week to develop the identity, which meant it was necessary to draw on its sector experience to meet the brief.
