Unsuitable has created a campaign to inform Birmingham residents that accident and emergency services at Selly Oak hospital will be moving to a new super hospital in Edgbaston next week.

The Birmingham agency's ads aim to spread the word that A&E services will move to the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham from June 16. They will run across outdoor, press, radio and online.

"The brief was brutally simple," said Unsuitable managing partner, John Harrison. "It was essential that our communication retained that simplicity in order to translate across media and to the mass-market audience that we are talking to - basically anyone and everyone.

"It's classic public service advertising and we are very proud of it - and also to be involved with Queen Elizabeth Hospital which is going to be a truly world-class facility."

Unsuitable picked up the task after a pitch in January featuring three local agencies.

Director of communications for the new hospital, Fiona Alexander, said: "Informing our diverse audience of the A&E move is an essential part of transferring patient care to the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital and this campaign is really going to help raise awareness among the public."
