Promat appoints SLG to provide press office service

Fire protection and insulation manufacturer Promat UK has appointed Manchester’s SLG Marketing to its PR account, with the B2B marketing communications agency providing a press office and media relations services.

Promat, a subsidiary of Promat International and part of the Etex group of companies, has set a PR brief which will see SLG handle media enquiries and press promotion for Promat’s range of fire protection boards, penetration seals and spray products.

Promat UK’s marketing manager Sean Appleton said of the appointment: “we often target niche and complex audiences. An experienced agency that possesses strong knowledge and understanding of our target audience and market is vital.”

And David Dailey, PR director at SLG, added: “Our experience and strong relationships with the construction trade press have helped us win a number of new PR accounts from clients looking to make a big impact in this sector and we’re delighted to welcome Promat on board.”
