Calor has signed up legendary sports broadcaster Stuart Hall to lend his unmistakable commentary to its new radio campaign.

The 40 second ads, promoting Calor's bottled gas home delivery service, run for two weeks on Talksport and feature the typically imaginative wordplay that has become Hall's trademark.

Nikki McCluney, consumer marketing manager for Calor, said: “We love the scripts. They promote the service in an engaging, fun way – and as a football fan I have to say that I was sold from the moment I heard that Stuart Hall would be voicing them – as I’m sure Talksport’s listeners will be!”

The ads were created by Midlands agency Cogent Elliott and aim to strike a chord with football fans firing up their barbecues for a World Cup party.
