Front's VisitEngland promo ties in with Ridley Scott's Robin Hood

With Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood, starring Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchette, hitting cinemas at the end of last week, a new online promotion for VisitEngland will aim to capitalise on the resulting interest from the film.

The Myths and Legends promotion for VisitEngland has seen Front design, illustrate and develop an interactive, animated online map which gives visitors the chance to explore the locations of some of the country’s most famous stories and myths.

The site has gone live on the consumer facing website of VisitEngland, and includes a summary of locations used to shoot the new Robin Hood movie.

An interactive Facebook quiz has also been developed where users can identify which story or mythical character best sums them up having been asked seven simple questions about their likes, dislikes, hobbies. The application then tells them whether they are a Robin Hood, a mythical mermaid, an enchanted knight, a Trafalgar Lion or a magical elf.

The site also suggests possible UK short break and holiday ideas based on their results
