Taking full advantage of the clients' need to retain customers during the recession, Didsbury agency uber is growing and on the move as it gears up for continued expansion

From May the consultancy, founded in 2008 and headed up by MD Sarah Cross, will be based at Piccadilly House in the heart of the city centre so that Cross and her team can continue to grow the business both in terms of staff and clients.

Cross has recently appointed former CheethamBellJWT and Blue Chip Marketing account manager Alex Gibson, who brings ten years experience of working on large consumer brands such as Kellogg's, Muller, Vileda and Irn-Bru.

Also joining the business recently is Emma Cross, who joins as operations manager bringing seven years experience with her to uber.

Previously Emma was working for one of uber’s clients, mwl, running its call centre and operational delivery of projects to the North Wales Police. Cross will take responsibility for supplier management, overseeing IT and finance and project managing key clients.

Speaking of uber's growth and move to the city Sarah Cross said: “We’ve had a great 18 months in Didsbury” says Sarah Cross, MD of uber “but with the business growing so rapidly we feel we need to be in the city. We now have the space we need to grow, and are looking forward to being business and social butterflies in the city.

“I am super excited about where we’re at as a business, Emma and Alex are already making an impact on our growth and have just delivered a key project for The Childrens Mutual and are close to launching Home House’s loyalty programme, with new clients and a new product launch on the horizon it won’t be long before we’ll need more hands on the deck!”
