The Drum launches creative services Directory

The Drum launches creative services DirectoryThe Drum launches creative services Directory

After three months of re-development work, The Drum has launched its new online Directory, which will offer the UK marketplace the most functional and flexible Directory available.

The new Drum Directory is geared towards providing both an easy to navigate platform for small to medium businesses through which to promote their own services to clients as well as offering a solid platform for freelancers to publicise their owns skills to an agency audience.

The directory is available to the high volume of client and agency traffic that uses The Drum website and those wishing to use the platform will have a range of options to highlight their skills and experience. This will include the option to add extensive profile details, a showcase with up to 1,000 images and unlimited case studies.

The new directory also offers a free entry level option.

A key aim of the development is to provide easy to use tools to manage directory Profiles and detailed statistics to monitor profile traffic and views.

I'd be very interested to know what the split is of client to agency traffic the Drum site gets. My impression is it's 98% agency, 2% client.

Whatever the split is, we'd have to take the Drum's word for it, mind.

Everyone going for the free option then? ;-)

I'd agree that 98% must be agency side surely?

But agencies do deal with agencies - specialisation to specialisiation ... we certainly do well from this.

Anon: To suggest The Drum has no client readers is a bit ridiculous don't you think bearing in mind in the last few weeks alone we have carried interviews with clients such as: Warburtons Burger King GAME Digital Specsavers Santander STA Travel AEGON Heineken Everton Irn Bru Dunfermline Building Society

Richard: that's content generated by clients and instigated by The Drum. I'm talking about page impressions. I'm not having a pop, simply curious as to what the split of readers is.

Just had a look at the register. I tried to leave some feedback but the feeback form kept giving an error mesage when trying to send.

Anon 15:14 - that's great that you're picking up buisiness via it from agencies.
