1HQ hires Ellis for research and strategy role

Berkshire branding agency 1HQ has hired Tom Ellis, the former managing director of Big Green Door, to expand the agency's research and strategy divisions.

Ellis, who has worked with brands including Starbucks, McDonald's and Marks and Spencer, will take on the role of client development director of research and strategy.

He said: "I was lured to 1HQ by its unique combination of disciplines which I believe can add real value to clients business, by taking strategic thinking, founded in insight, and making it truly actionable by combing this with the creative expertise in product, packaging and communications."
