Arts marketing and audience development agency Arts About Manchester has rebranded as All About Audiences to reflect that it is now covering the whole of the north west.

The new brand comes into effect this month and the identity has been created by Manchester agency Hemisphere.

Hemisphere's brief was to create an identity that would signify the organisation's expanded patch - it had been known as Arts About Manchester for 20 years - but also maintain its "brand equity".

Sue Vanden, director at Hemisphere, said: "We wanted to acknowledge Arts About Manchester’s roots whilst at the same time giving it a fresh new look – the heritage of the new name and identity had to be obvious to those that knew the organisation previously but still make a positive impact for those new to its services.

"The new name has an ‘aural’ recognition factor, having the same rhythm to its syllables as well as creating a flexible device for communicating what the agency is ‘all about’, such as knowledge, networking, collaboration and engagement etc.”

The new identity will be applied across new corporate and promotional materials, including a new website (www.allaboutaudiences.com) being built by Glitterfish.

Ian Wadeson, chief executive of All About Audiences, said: "The updated identity has achieved the perfect balance of presenting a fresh and dynamic face to our new clients whilst building on the authority and trust we have established over the past 20 years."
