Domino's Pizza idents for Take Me Out by Big Communications

Here’s a look at the series of idents created by Big Communications for Domino’s Pizza’s sponsorship of new ITV1 dating series ‘Take Me Out’.

The series, presented by Paddy McGuiness, began on Saturday night with eight idents created to bookend each commercial break during the show.

The idents, directed by Simon Paul, were produced by Fresh Films while Envy handled Post Production.

Ooooh, there's nothing like a pun. Or two.

The puns don't offend me nearly as much as the thought that there was a great idea to be had on this brief. And it very definitely hasn't been had.

Good point, 22:08. We all know how tight the guidelines are for idents but surely showing the pizza itself is actually less contentious (and more effective) than showing the box? Methinks it's either a case of no budget for a food stylist or the client loving the fact that you can just about see four logos in the one shot.
