Online retailer Firebox.com will look to run new ‘quirky’ ad campaigns on its site to promote its stock following the appointment of digital sales house w00t!media.

The appointment sees w00t!media replace previous online sales hour 24/7 Real Media and sees it charged with securing bespoke, beyond-banner advertising campaigns from specially selected brands.

Christian Robinson, managing director of Firebox.com, explained that the retailer had a ‘very engaged audience’ and that the brands it needed to offer would need to be the correct ones for its customers.

Austen Kay, added, director of w00t!media, added “Working with an e-commerce website is a new proposition for w00t, however Firebox.com is an established and trusted digital brand with a loyal audience. Our challenge is to work with digital planners to create innovative campaigns that complement Firebox’s existing content.”
