Fisher leaves Trimedia Scotland for Martin Currie

Amy Fisher, director of Trimedia Scotland has been appointed as director of corporate communications for investment management business Martin Currie.

Fisher, who only joined Trimedia Scotland in April of this year as director and member of the UK board, will be based at the company’s Edinburgh head office.

Previous to working at Trimedia she was managing director of corporate communications at Alliance Trust and had spent 10 years at Lansons Communications in London as partner and main board director.

She will be made responsible for leading the public relations of Martin Currie will oversee all of its media and communications activities.

Andy Sowerby, managing director of marketing, sales and client service at Martin Currie, said: “With her depth of experience and industry knowledge we are delighted that Amy has joined us. We continue to invest in our capabilities both to deepen our resources and improve communication with our clients and the media.”

Meanwhile, Helen Standing, consultant for Trimedia has joined West Yorkshire Local Transport Plan as a consultant.
