iknow-uk in hunt for agency to take brand to 'next level'
Lancashire based accommodation and tourism specialist iknow-uk is searching for a marketing agency to help support the launch of its new consumer website and take the brand to the next level.
Founded in 2003 with the www.iknow-yorkshire.co.uk website, iknow-uk currently operates 12 regional websites for leisure and accommodation providers including hotels, guest houses, holiday cottages and B&Bs which are visited by more than a million users each month.
The Leyland based company is now searching for a new marketing agency to work alongside their retained PR agency, Beattie Communications, to initially meet the task of researching and launching a new consumer facing website leading to a full brand launch approximately 12 months later.
Figures have yet to be finalised but the contract is said to be worth "a substantial six-figure sum".
The new website, will bring all of iknow-uk’s regional websites together for the first time.
Managing director, Marcus Simmons, said: “We launched our first website in 2003 and have continually added to our portfolio to the point where we will shortly cover all of the UK’s major tourism regions.
“Thanks to this year’s boom in domestic tourism we felt that now was the ideal time to launch a singular website that will act as the gateway to all of our regional websites, bringing together all of the information in one place.
“We are searching for an enthusiastic and creative agency that is able to develop a strategic marketing plan to really take us to the next level.”
iknow-uk is looking to appoint the new agency by December with a view to launching the new website in early 2010.
