The V Festival, Creamfields and Virtual Festivals websites have appointed digital sales house w00t!media to manage their online advertising.

VFestival.com attracts more than 450,000 users during the build up to the August event and 800,000 unique users use it to view highlights afterwards.

Manchester-based w00t!media will be confirming V's site sponsorship from music-based and other relevant brands, offering packages including countdown clock sponsor, newsletter sponsor and main site wallpaper and re-skin.

Virtual Festivals features news and information about the myriad UK festivals and claims 1.7m unique users visit the site every year. Existing advertisers include Orange, Bacardi and Virgin Mobile.

Steve Jenner, director of Virtual Festivals, said: “Our highly targeted user base responds exceptionally well to relevant campaigns, so we are now focusing exclusively on this and excluding all generic network advertising.”

The Creamfields festival takes place in Cheshire in August and its website attracts nearly 400,000 users during the event's build up. It features customised advertising from brands such as Bench and Sony Ericsson.

Laura Buckley, senior marketing manager at Cream Group, said: “Bespoke advertising is very important to our site. It’s key for us to position our website and offer complimentary products and services through our online activity.”

w00t!media will also be responsible for digital advertising on the Cream Ibiza website, which launched this summer.
