Glasgow-based Cowbrough Communications has won a pan European tender to supply a range of communications support to the Paris based Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

It has been contracted by the organisation’s Local Economic and Employment Development (LEED) programme to deliver a package of media relations, audio visual, online and marketing materials.

The OECD brings together the governments of 30 member countries and provides a platform for comparing policy experiences, identifying good practice and coordinating international economic policy.

Specifically the LEED programme works with members to help develop local employment opportunities.

The contract was won against competition from three other European Union countries.

“In the current economic climate the work of the OECD has a major role to play in equipping local agencies with the tools required to climb out of this recession. Communicating what they offer to a global audience will play a big part in how successful this will be and we’re delighted to be part of this process,” said director, Craig Cowbrough.
