MSHK Group has appointed Code Computerlove to redesign the website for its Hed Kandi dance music brand ahead of this summer's Ibiza season.

The Manchester-based digital agency was appointed after an eight-way pitch and will produce a site featuring Hed Kandi's 'Access the Fabulous' strapline and an online shop.

Chris Wallwork, eCommerce/Web Manager for the MSHK Group, said the website would be ready before Ibiza - a fixture in the dance music calendar - springs into life in June.

He said: "Like many companies, we have a direct to consumer strategy that plans to give MSHK greater market share of our own products. A more prominent web presence is integral to this.

“We look forward to working with Code to nail the final look and feel, which we believe they will turn around very quickly in time for the busy Ibiza season."

Wes Hogg, the executive creative director at Code who ran the pitch, said Hed Kandi had long been one of the agency's sought after brands.

"The Hed Kandi brand has long been on Code's list of 'Brands We Want To Work With' and this win is testament to our design team's fantastic capabilities and unrivalled creativity,” he said.

Hogg added that the agency would draw on its five years' experience working with HMV to develop Hed Kandi's online shop.
