The launch of the National Football Museum’s exhibition to honour former England International Sir Tom Finney which has been created by Cube3 Marketing took place last week.

The North West based creative agency won a competitive pitch to design and implement an integrated strategy to for the exhibition.

Cube3 was responsible for the entire creation of the exhibition, which included the creation of the branding, exhibition graphics design, build and install, invites and microsite.

Karl Barker, managing director of Cube3, explained his excitement at working on a project for the football legend: “As football fans were are always excited to work with the National Football Museum and when an exhibition like this comes along we grab it with both hands. It’s a great tribute, to a great footballer, and a great man. Tom was one of my late father’s favourite all time players, so for me to be involved is something he would be very proud of too.”

Barker continued: “The creative team at Cube3 have really captured the legend that was Sir Tom with the intricate exhibition telling the personal and professional story of Sir Tom’s life using pictures and quotes from past and present day commentators. I am especially proud to see out work making so many people able to commemorate and appreciate the life and achievements of a true sporting legend.”

The exhibition will run at the National Football Museum until 27 September.
