Asda has unveiled spring-themed point-of-sale designs, created by Gratterpalm, which will decorate its stores for Easter.

The retailer briefed Leeds-based Gratterpalm to design materials suitable for its Asda, George and Living stores, and the designs will also feature on packaging, leaflets, local marketing and on the Asda website.

A seasonal aisle in Asda shops will be themed to appeal to children with a bunny rabbit appearing in springtime scenes, while colourful decorated trees and eggs will also appear in other parts of the stores.

Steph Hughes, events POS manager at Asda, said: "The seasonal aisle is cute, fun and really captures the excitement of Easter, eggs and bunnies, whereas the rest of the store has a more spring-like design with cheerful colours to lift the mood in-store, following a long winter.”

Gareth Healey, managing partner at Gratterpalm, added: "Easter is a very

family-oriented time of year, so it’s key that we cater for all age groups with our in-store designs. This year, we’ve tried to give the POS standout while also tapping into current trends."

The Easter seasonal aisle will go live from 10 March, with the overall campaign running through until Easter Sunday on 12 April.
