Manchester NHS and Manchester City Council are expected to search for agencies to supply marketing services to the newly announced Points4life scheme.

The Points4Life scheme falls under the government's Change4Life drive and it is hoped it will encourage people in Manchester to be healthier by taking part in a loyalty programme.

Taking inspiration from private sector loyalty initiatives - like Tesco's Clubcards - Mancunians will be rewarded for their efforts to make positive healthy choices and will recieve points which can be redeemed for special products and services from public and private sector sources.

A website is soon to go live with details of the tender opportunities (www.points4lifeojeu.co.uk) but it has already been reported that the authorities are seeking partners to handle a range of services including the entire marketing and PR brief and online tasks.
