Carlsberg chooses Gecko to Deliver More

Following a competitive pitch, Carlsberg UK has appointed marketing consultancy Gecko to develop and its ‘We Deliver More’ on-trade initiative.

The new online portal will transform the way Carlsberg UK works with its on-trade customers. The new system will provide individual outlets with a set of unique marketing tools to help drive their business, focusing on three core areas: people, sales and savings.

With the UK’s on-trade currently facing some of the toughest trading conditions in the last 100 years, the bespoke web-based system, developed by Gecko, will support Carlsberg UK’s on trade customers with direct online access to marketing collateral, financial advice and a host of other essential business related elements.

The ‘We Deliver More’ portal will host design templates for POS material, including banners, posters, table talkers and food and drinks menus. The new website will also give landlords the ability to create and send personalised direct mail to a target consumer list of over 26 million customers. In addition the site will host free advice on HR, staff training and cost saving options.
