Windsor based PR agency EHPR has re-branded to become part of fellow Huntsworth group Trimedia UK and will act as its consumer division, being based out of London.

As result of the move, Daniel Cohen, former director of consumer brands has been promoted to managing director of consumer.

Clare Hindley and Nasima Hussain, executive directors of EHPR have now joined the board of Trimedia.

17 members of staff will join Trimedia following the move.

Cohen’s newly combined team now has more than 40 consultants and represents clients with blue chips brands such as Akzo Nobel, Diageo, Coca-Cola GB and Procter & Gamble.

Cohen commented: “There is a very natural synergy between both teams and I’m excited about what we’re going to achieve as we bring together the fantastic skills of these consultants. EHPR has expertise in beauty and grooming, homes interest and entertainment and Trimedia’s consumer brands team has a great reputation for our work in food and drink, and travel and leisure. As such, we’re now able to offer an even more rounded proposition. And, as we are keeping both our Soho and Windsor offices, we’re going to create a far more flexible working model.”

Loretta Tobin, Trimedia UK CEO, comments: “Bringing EHPR under the Trimedia UK banner strengthens our consumer offer by combining two award-winning teams. In these economic conditions, we believe that size will matter, and expanding our consumer division means we’re well placed to take advantage of new opportunities. We share a similar culture and philosophy and EHPR and Trimedia have worked closely together for the last two years. Joining forces seemed to be the natural next step for both parties and we believe the combination will be hard to beat.”
