Tangible makes brace of senior appointments
Tangible, the Edinburgh-based direct marketing agency, has announced the appointment of Shona Gairns as head of its Life Choices Divison covering recruitment, skills-training and education following ongoing growth in the sector throughout 2008.
Gairns (pictured) will assume responsibility for managing and growing Tangible’s specialist divison and a strong team of specialist consultants.
In addition, Anita McCann has joined the team as account director from her role as senior account manager with WWAV Rapp Collins Scotland.
Julie Allan, head of tangible, Edinburgh, said: “We have seen huge growth in the recruitment, skills-training and education sector in the last 12 months and we are confident that Shona’s appointment will allow us to give our clients in this sector access to one of the most experienced teams in the UK. Our people are at the very heart of our business and with Shona and Anita joining us, we’re confident these appointments put us in great stead for 2009.”
Gairns has over 25 years’ experience in recruitment and education advertising, through a range of consultancy roles with Riley Advertising, McCann Erickson Scotland and, most recently, with Barkers Scotland where she headed up its specialist education divison.
