Matmi promotes world's first virtual football world
Viral specialist Matmi has released an online quiz game to encourage user registrations for new virtual world Football Superstars, from Cybersports.
'The Knowledge' football quiz has already attracted over 100,000 registrations for avatars for the beta version of Football Superstars, which promises 'an entire online virtual world designed by football fans exclusively for football fans'.
In the quiz players answer football trivia questions against the clock to score goals. Players can record their quiz scores and set up their own quiz leagues to challenge family and friends on their football knowledge.
Phil Booker, sales and marketing director at Cybersports, said: “The quiz game will continue to run alongside Football Superstars after the virtual world is released to give us extra reach.”
