Cash Generator appoints Mere to aid expansion PR

Cash Generator has announced the appointment of Mere PR to handle its external communication requirements over the next year as the company looks to expand.

Mere PR has been tasked with supporting Cash Generator’s national expansion plan and to raise the company’s profile with a new target demographic, BC1s, as part of the company’s new positioning in the market.

The client recently underwent a management buyout and has announced plans to double the size of its network to 160 outlets within five years. With 10 stores opened so far in 2008, another six in the pipeline for this year, the company has set a target of 100 stores for 2009.

Working with both the marketing and sales teams at Cash Generator, Mere PR will implement a high profile campaign across the UK to generate sustained media coverage, launch new stores, attract franchisees, drive footfall to new and existing stores, and handle all external and internal communications.
