Tangerine PR to re-launch Atkins diet products in UK
Manchester-based Tangerine PR has won the national account to re-launch Atkins diet products back into the UK.
The agency will be focussing on creating awareness of Atkins' new chocolate bars and shakes through a targeted national campaign.
As well as working with a UK medical expert to support the science behind the revised diet and new products, Tangerine has promised that an as-yet-unnamed Hollywood A-lister will front new campaign 'Sweet, Sexy, Science'.
Peter Valentine, UK director of Atkins, said: “Atkins is back. We have a great new range of products which are already proving a great success around the world, in countries such as the United States, Australasia and mainland Europe.”
The Atkins Diet was a worldwide craze around five years ago, but its methods also caused heated debate among medical circles – gaining reams of column inches in the process.
